POSITION: SENIOR IT MANAGER
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Oversee the maintenance of IT infrastructure in the Area Office
- Oversee and provide guidance to the Assure and Branches regarding purchase, installation, configuration of equipment and software
- Collaborate with all departments and develop/provide IT solutions if and when necessary
- In partnership with Learning and Organizational Development team, develop, procure IT related training material and conduct workshops if needed
- Participate in Business Continuity Planning
- Lead the IT team by providing problem solving, making timely decisions and ensure the development of the team members. Success Criteria: Indicate the metrics or other standards that will be used to measure success in this role
- 95% uptime for all services under care
- Requests are vetted within 2 business days. Solutions provided within minimum acceptable time
- Requested solution is provided or redirected in a timely manner
- Provide at least 5 training/retraining sessions on IT usage
- Conduct at least one meeting per quarter. At least one workshop per two years
- Regular weekly meetings to resolve and guide. Plan appropriate training and provide coaching
JOB SPECIFICATION
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Management
- 3-5 years. At least five years in relevant industrial experience (particularly experience gained within the fields of project management, technical support, systems programming or computer operations)
- At least two years working experience in managing Microsoft Office 365 and related technologies. Prior experience in implementing solutions esp, financial / ERP solutions. Experience in either code based or codeless application development
